Experienced Salesforce Architect

As a Experienced Salesforce Architect, you will work with Engagement Directors supporting multiple product implementations to ensure they are completed in accordance within Salesforce best practice. You will work to develop parts of the implementation that cannot be completed through declarative means. Although the Engagement Director is ultimately responsible for the company’s projects, you will work hand in hand with them to make sure all aspects of the project run smoothly and efficiently and assist with end-to-end implementations, integration, business readiness and communications. The Experienced Salesforce Architect also works with various members of the project team and the client to develop a timeline, create work items and oversee the architectural integrity of the project.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the design and implementation of Salesforce features and functionality (architecture)
  • Play a key, visible, internal and customer facing role on Salesforce projects which involves analyzing, building, integrating, testing and deploying Salesforce solutions (architecture)
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the Salesforce platform out-of-the-box capabilities and ability to design solutions to take advantage of those capabilities (architecture)
  • Ability to drive end-to-end solution architecture integrity and the functional relationship with other projects (architecture)
  • Will be responsible for configuration, development, testing, and deployment of their assigned functionality
  • Develop customized solutions within different platforms/tools to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements and company goals
  • Manage daily support and maintenance of internal and customer facing Salesforce instances, and conduct long-term improvement operations to ensure compatibility with evolving mission requirements
  • Configure and implement solutions using core tools and products for internal and external client/corporate projects
  • Ability to write bulkified code according to Salesforce best practices
  • Ability to write Salesforce unit tests that rely on test data and cover as much code as possible
  • Ability to use built it methods to check user CRED permission maintaining proper data security
  • Ability to write secure code that prevents security vulnerabilities to hackers
  • Communicate with managers, clients and other developers and architects to design cohesive project strategies and ensure effective collaboration throughout all phases of development, testing and deployment
  • Maintain a flexible and proactive work environment to facilitate a quick response to changing requirements and customer objectives, and innovate ways to meet mission goals successfully
  • Interact directly with clients, managers and end users as necessary to analyze project objectives and capability requirements, including specifications for user interfaces, customized applications and interactions within Salesforce instances
  • Provide system administration support of internal and customer-facing Salesforce environment, especially related to customized applications, user permissions, security settings, custom objects, and workflow
  • Collaborate with various team members and programs, including sales, product development and operations, to ensure Salesforce environments support internal needs relating to functionality and performance
  • Work within an Agile methodology consisting of iterative development cycles
  • Work with Senior Architects to support internal and external environments
  • Assist in training and mentoring of Jr. Developers and growing the current development team.
  • Assist with client presentations and proposal creation as required

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Two plus years of Project or Account Management experience (do not require PMP certification)
  • Proven customer service background
  • Proven friendly telephone voice and demeanor
  • Ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environment, while managing multiple projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Curious, always seeking to learn more and understand
  • Scrum Master experience a plus
