HUD REAC Awards MB&A Contract For ExAM

Innovative solution will revolutionize the way HUD REAC performs inspections

The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Real Estate Assessment Center (REAC) has contracted with Millsapps, Ballinger & Associates (MB&A) for the Extensible Assessment Manager (ExAM). REAC, opting to utilize ExAM like so many other organizations, will use the assessment management software to conduct mobile inspections of public housing properties. ExAM is an off-the-shelf, affordable, flexible and robust tool that sits atop the force.com platform.

MB&A will configure ExAM to the unique requirements of REAC to ensure that inspection data is collected in a repeatable process that increases data quality, efficiently generates corrective actions, and provides time critical information for real-time dashboards, effective analysis, and data-driven decisions. ExAM (ExAM4Enterprise.com) seeks to improve all aspects of mobile inspections at REAC by providing process improvement, business analytics, communication, and collaboration – all in an easy-to-use interface.

Clients from Federal, State and local government including Department of Veterans Affairs, District of Columbia General Services, Los Angeles Unified School District, and Loudoun County Public Schools are using ExAM to provide turnkey security assessments, inspections, and complex survey/data call environments. ExAM resides on the Salesforce.com platform which has over 130,000 existing customers, 185,000 custom applications, and handles over 1 billion transactions per day.
